Dry secures European U23 Selection Standard (29th June 09)

Having already secured the 2010 Commonwealth Games qualifying standard 3 times in as many weeks, WSIS supported hammer thrower final achieved his goal of achieving the selection standard for the U23 European championships to be held in Lithuanian in July.

Potter takes Gold at U20 Championships(29th June 09)

WSIS supported athlete Beth Potter (Victoria Park City of Glasgow) won gold in the under-20 women’s 3000m final at the Avian England U20 and U23 Championships and European Trials in Bedford this weekend.

Stirling picked for European Youth Olympics(25th June 09)

East Kilbride swimmer, Alasdair Stirling, has been named among 61 top young athletes to represent Team GB at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Tampere, Finland from 18-25 July 2009.
